How To Get to Elk Springs Resort
Elk Springs Resort is conveniently located off of Hwy 321 in Gatlinburg so that you can avoid the typically heavy traffic through the main Parkway and Route 66. Elk Springs is located at the edge of the Historic Arts and Crafts Community off Glades road.
*** Please Note: some cabins and all condos are located off of the main property. We suggest you refer to the driving directions emailed to you at the time of your reservation confirmation and with your pre-check in documents emailed to you just prior to your date of check in.
Using a GPS? Many guests have had problems using MapQuest, Google Maps and/or their GPS when navigating to our property. As such, we recommend that guests navigate to the intersection of Glades Road and Highway 321 and then follow the directions to their cabin on your reservation confirmation that was emailed to you.
Visitors traveling to Gatlinburg from the North, West or East typically use exit 407 off interstate 40 and travel through Sevierville and Pigeon Forge on highway 66. The traffic on highway 66 from exit 407 to Gatlinburg can be very very heavy. As such, as an alternative we STRONGLY recommend that you bypass exit 407 and travel towards Asheville, NC and take exit 435 (highway 321) towards Gatlinburg. (see directions below from Virginia). While the driving distance is about 25-30 miles further, you can save up to 1.5 to 2 hours in driving time and frustration by using this preferred route.
Elk Springs Resort offers an express check in, so there is not a check in office that you need to go to. We will call you the day of check in and provide you with an access code to get into your cabin. You should reply to your reservation confirmation email with your confirmation number and mobile phone number. We will call you when your cabin is ready. Our standard check in time is 3:00pm. Should you require a late check in, please let us know so we can prepare for your arrival.
